About OMC England
OMC was founded in 1969 by Omeir Cotran following the acquisition of Benjamin Crosland and Sons Ltd., a fine woollen mill established in Huddersfield in 1827 and a merger with Myers Webster and Co. Ltd, an established exporter of woollen fabrics, of which Mr. Cotran was Managing Director.
From that time OMC grew to become one of the major producers of worsted and woollen fabrics in the UK, supplying both the UK market and export markets all over the world.
All OMC cloth is manufactured in Huddersfield, Yorkshire, the birthplace of fine worsted fabrics – OMC believes the skills developed here over centuries, coupled with continuous investment in plant and people, makes Huddersfield the world’s centre of excellence for worsted fabric production.
Fine clothes require fine cloth, OMC only manufactures fine cloth, with a mission to produce the best.
