R.W. Shepley was established in March 2002 during an era when the UK worsted wool spinning industry was being decimated as never before, mainly due for foreign importation of yarn, bad management and excessive UK land prices.

Roger chose to invest his life’s savings to form R.W.Shepley Limited (Wool Spinners), in the belief that his extensive knowledge and passion of the British Wool industry could create a successful, vibrant foresighted textile company equipped to service the increasing world demand for a True British Wool Product.

From those humble beginning the company now sees itself exporting over 4 continents, this diverse export business, coupled with strong partnerships with established UK manufacturers, is allowing the company to grow generically year on year during testing times.

Due to their bold approach to stock holding and investment R.W. Shepley is fully equipped to service the ever increasing demand for quality British made wool yarn and fibres.
